Alternative Livelihood Training by Skill development is the key to improve employability and income-earning opportunities for women. Academy of Women Empowerment (AWE) aims to make women self sufficient through various Handicraft Skill Training Programs. The economic empowerment of women is a prerequisite for sustainable development for which it is important to provide continual learning of marketable skills and leadership attributes. Delivery of quality training and utilization of digital platforms for women empowerment is pivotal to improve the productivity of the economy and participation of women.

The objective of AWE is to provide a platform for learning and sharing skills to understand the importance of skill development in earning livelihood and aims at providing inspiring guidance, techniques and approaches to women empowerment through economic self-sufficiency.

The mission is to enhance the quality of life of women through increased knowledge and skills. After training they will be encouraged to avail bank loans to start their own business which ultimately develops the entrepreneurs mindset to uplift their status. AWE will also support in conducting exhibitions and workshops to encourage, promote and market their products to the world.
